Arborist Letter / Tree Removal Permit

What is a Certified Arborist?

An ISA Certified Arborist is an individual who has such a passion for Tree's that they have taken a vital step to ensure that they properly diagnose and recommend trimming and other tree care by becoming certified through the International Society of Arboriculture. We use, diagnose and recommend pruning according to ANSI 300 standards. (ANSI 300 standards are the American National Standards Institute.) ANSI provides guidelines for pruning trees and other woody plants.

Certified Arborist Letter

A letter is generally required by the city when a property owner needs a specific tree diagnosed or looked at for possible hazard concerns. A Certified Arborist will identify and evaluate the tree and compile his findings into a letter format. Arborist letters are a documentation of the property, the condition of the tree, and recommendations for tree work, and can be used to convince neighbors and HOAs to take down trees, and are sometimes required by county and city tree removal permit offices.

Certified Arborist Report

Arborist reports help provide information about the health and condition of specific trees; the cause of the problem, and actions that may be taken to alleviate the problem.

Certified Arborist Consultations

Our Certified Arborist will provide expert tree care and service recommendations that have the well-being of your trees in mind. If you need an individual tree diagnosed or your entire property inventoried, Global Tree Care can help. Trees and plants need a healthy landscape in order to grow strong and healthy for years to come.

Why Do I Need An Arborist Letter?

In most counties and cities in Florida requires you to obtain a permit to remove trees prior to beginning any project. This includes live, dying, or hazardous or dead trees.

It is the responsibility of the homeowner to do this. However, in order to avoid the long wait, Global Tree Care has an ISA Certified Arborist that will provide a letter to have the tree removed without the need for the permit or to ask permission from the city.
